I’ve spent a significant amount of time over the last month (yes, even some of my Christmas vacation time) editing, revising, expanding, and improving the book. To be honest, after investing the time to improve the book, I considered turning the product into a sale product, but in the end I decided to continue making the information available free of charge (with a free subscription to Money Help for Christians).
That seems to fit with my revised New Years resolution:
- I want to honor God with every word I write on the blog. When working on this blog, I want to seek first his kingdom.
- I want to help my readers. I want to help people first, and make income a secondary priority.
- If God chooses to bless those efforts and allows me to make a fulltime living online, rejoice with a holy party in honor of God.
My only fear with offering the book for free is that you might be less likely to read it. I’ve found that when I purchase an eBook, I read it as soon as possible. However, when I download a free eBook, it often lingers in my inbox or gets buried with other PDFs.
In order to address this issue, I’ve created a landing page to let you know all the valuable information you’ll be missing out on if you don’t actually read the book. In the end, you can lead a man to eBooks, but you can’t make him read.
From now until February 8th, 2011, you can get the revised and updated edition completely free of charge.
After February 8th, 2011, the book will be offered only to subscribers or those who wish to purchase a copy.

Download Update (Jan. 19th, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.)
Unfortunately, the service I use to distribute The Bible and 21st Century Finances only allows 100 free downloads per day . I didn’t know that when I was setting everything up. I’ve tried alternative ways to upload the document, but for now all I can say is if you cannot download the book please come back tomorrow (early) to get your free copy.
I apologize for any inconvenience.
